My first visit to the infamous meat market in Vernon. I'll say, Wahoo. The grocery stores have something to learn from this place. Fresh is an understatement. You can smell the fresh meat from the parking lot in theory. Burgers, chicken, lots of steak types, sausage, kielbasa ate you hungry yet. How about a 30 pound brisket? Whoa is right. The meat was all lean and mean and priced right. I cannot wait to go back and see what I can barbecue from this place next.

Okay I'm rewriting this. Everybody was very friendly and smiley. As usual the steaks are unbelievably tasty and the bacon perfect . And their sausage always right on target.For the first time we bought chicken thighs in the eight pack. These babies were juicy thick way better than any store we get them cuz I buy chicken thighs all the time. Y'all got to try this chicken. Love this place always walk out under a hundred bucks they have lots of other stuff. Always nice to see ( My Papa Sauce ) if you haven't had that sauce yet you should really try it. One of the nicest tasting sauces out there and it's local. And also Wagner's has the best steak sauces always on the shelf. I have to drive 20 minutes to get here from Glastonbury to Vernon. But I think I'm going to start to do it every week I love it. Plenty of parking and they go out of their way now to be friendly and help you. I know there are other ones and new ones in Manchester but I will continue to travel to Vernon.

Picked up beef on Xmas Eve Eve, I was a little hesitant to walk in because the parking lot was jam packed! The employees were very organized handing out preorders and very quick to help those, like me, who were there to order from the counter. It was my first time there and will definitely go again! Prices are very reasonable.

I can never ever I'm pretty sure they get their eggs at 11:00 but I have never ever in years seen so many double yolk I get the jumble white ones I think they're $2.99 they're perfect

I would give 5 stars if they just had more options. It seems like Teriyaki kabobs and stir fry are as adventurous as they want to get. They used to have a pinwheel and something else. But maybe like 5 other ideas. I would buy it haha
